Austria. The Art of Discovery.

Win an exclusive commission to discover and document the country

Travel to Austria on an exclusive commission organised by British Journal of Photography in collaboration with the Austrian National Tourist Office as part of their Austria. The Art of Discovery project.

The winning photographer will travel to Austria to explore the regions of Linz, in Upper Austria, and Vorarlberg and create a body of work that captures the culture, communities, and creativity they encounter.

The competition is free to enter and open to anyone in the world over the age of 18. Entrants are invited to submit a project or a selection of individual images, on any subject-matter.

Prizes:

A one-week trip to Austria in mid-April, including travel and accommodation, and a £3,000 grant.

Coverage by British Journal of Photography and the Austrian National Tourist Office.

An opportunity to exhibit at Photo London 2018 alongside a group exhibition of contemporary Austrian photography.
