Olympus E-P1 - First video test

Not very impressive. Things are really blowing out. I've noted that I need to set my Lumix LX3 to -2/3 stop when shooting video or it tends to blow out the highlights too.

The problem with both this camera and the Lumix range is that they are metering for the mid tones instead of the highlights. The rule was always to meter for the highlights on positive images, and on digital this applies even more.

I ended up setting my Lumix camera to "underexpose" by one stop. This gives a higher proportion of acceptable exposures, but it is a fudge.
