Leica S2 - 13 photos of the new system
Olivier Laurent
Leica was expected to stun the world tonight with a special press conference at Photokina in Cologne, Germany. Of course, the release was leaked online a few hours before the press briefing. However, BJP was able to see the S2 in an exclusive briefing held in London last month. Here are 13 pictures of the new system with its lenses.

They are all great Systems. Indeed, it is so unique how all those great Companies set up their own agendas and policies based on the strict laws of the Light going through the lens barrels without compromise.
But, LEICA is something different. It is weird, backward, stubborn, conservative, out of times, ... you name it!? A small Company, in fact an Art Manufacturing optical Company is making the best Lenses and Cameras of all times.
We should be grateful we have them here as the main corridor and reference to how bridge Old Laws with New upcoming technologies and to be on the right track, which is so difficult in our fast changing and challenging world.
I admire LEICA brilliant engeneurs. I own both R and M System. I am not a scientist. I am an artist,... There is something that no other optical system can catch up with.
LEICA: Thank You.
