According to The Daily Telegraph, Testino has taken a set of photographs of the couple last month in London "to mark their engagement."

In 1997, Testino had taken some of "the most memorable pictures of Princess Diana, during a photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine which was published in July 1997, one month before her death in a Paris car crash," says the Telegraph. Since then, Prince William and Prince Harry have constantly turned to the photographer to shoot at their birthdays and other social events.

The first official images of the new royal couple, to wed in April 2011, will be released later this month.

Flatterer in chief

No doubt his images will be very kind and flattering to his subjects. Remember though the portrait painted for Henry VIII of one of his wives to be which left him more than disappointed when he saw the real thing :)
