WorkshopsFrom Tim Hetherington to Zed Nelson, documentary photographers are testing the boundaries of image-making and experimenting with moving images. Now you can learn how to do it too, in a seminar put together by Foto8 and the Rory Peck Trust.
From Still to Moving is a two-day course on making documentary films and multimedia projects, and includes tips from five experts: Zed Nelson, photographer and film maker; James Brabazon, award-winning photographer and filmmaker; Guy Grandjean, a GuardianFilms producer; Guilhem Alandry, 360 degrees documentarist; and Oli Harbottle, head of distribution at Dogwoof, the leading film distributor for social issue films.
The seminar will take place on 11 and 12 March at HOST Gallery, 1 Honduras Street, London EC1Y 0TH. Places cost £145, including drinks, lunch and a free copy of 8 Magazine.
