Steidl and more at the Copeland Book Market

Get down to the Son Gallery, Peckham next weekend for a three-day book market featuring Steidl, Mack and many more

Calling all photobook lovers - the Son Gallery, Peckham is holding the Copeland Book Market from 24-26 June, featuring stalls by Steidl, MACK, the Artists Book Collective, Preston is my Paris Publishing, WassinkLundgren and many more.

MACK will present its newest publication, among others - Le Luxe by Roe Ethridge, who was nominated for the 2011 Deutsche Borse Photography Prize. Taking its name from the French phrase "C'est pas du luxe", which both celebrates and criticises luxury, Le Luxe combines personal and commissioned images plus an archive of screen shots to poke fun at the idea of perfection. Photographers from the Artists Book Collective, Preston is my Paris Publishing and WassinkLundgren will also be on hand to discuss the DIY approach, however, which they've used to create award-wiing projects.

Held in the Copeland Industrial Yard next to the Son Gallery, the Copeland Book Market will also feature keynote speakers, music, a pop-up cafe, a gin bar and a TOP NICE club night. The book fair is open from 06pm-09pm on Friday and from 12pm-06pm on Saturday and Sunday; the cafe and stage will be open late each night.

The Son Gallery is at Unit 9c, 133 Copeland Road, Peckham SE15 3SN. For more information contact infor@songallery.co.uk or call Guy Robertson on 020 7635 9367.
