Places: Fotocaféen in Copenhagen
What are the best spots around the world for photographers to kick back, enjoy a drink while getting work done? In Copenhagen, Fotocaféen has positioned itself as Denmark's first photo café
Olivier Laurent
Fotocaféen, situated in the heart of Copenhagen, was first created for photographers to enjoy a cup of coffee or a beer while benefiting from the place's many photo services - processing of traditional analog films, scanning, framing and mounting, etc. Photographers can also use the café's computers to work on Photoshop, or enjoy a series of books, newspapers and magazines.
But the "purpose of the photo café is to become a forum for everybody that shares an interest in photography, says Tony Nielsen. "We show various exhibitions across the year, and we also propose photography courses and artist talks."
The café is located at Vesterbrogade 45 in Copenhagen, Denmark. For more details, vist fotocafeen.dk.
