Thanks Jacqueline, nice read! Very useful for many who are serious about their photography business. I (former art director / buyer) always encourage photographers to communicate actively and creatively and let their work speak. With the web tools that are available today it's possible to create a smooth portfolio workflow, that makes this 'active' online promotion possible. With the right tools, portfolio updates on your main site, e-mail newsletters, facebook, flickr and twitter are not that time consuming at all. Setting this up smartly enables you to keep the focus on the creation of great work, which obviously is most important:)

inspirational
this article is truly inspirational. this is exactly the way in which photographers today should be thinking. the classic ways in which photographers have worked in the past just don't cut it in todays industry. you have to be proactive and innovative in order to keep up with what is going on. a great article and i for one will be keeping an eye on Casey Templeton.
