Progressive?

This looks amazing, and what a lot of videographers will be gagging to have! only noticed one small issue.

it says 1920x1080 then it has the bad bit of "i" interlaced? surely that cant be right for a 2 grand camera. surely it has to be "p" for progressive like what the vdslr's are able to do?

Sony NEX-VG10E

On above camcorder exposure can
not be completely set manually.
When selecting shutter speed and
aperture manually exposure compensation (correction +/-) can
not be fixed und is out of control.
This makes it impossible to record
satisfacturely in situations with
strong changes of light.
Please let me know if there is any
wayto overcome this malfunction
