A thought for the artist
Considering that film is experiencing something of a revival (Polaroid is back in business, toy cameras and Lomography are all the rage) why not just take photos that look as though they are 20+ years old... artfully pose people in front of studio backdrops that look like school portraits, etc. and then take those photos and cut them up? Take the process one step further. The true thief steals from himself.
