Not so Hot off the Press

A nice idea...not new but a nice idea that can work well... Wedding Photographers have used it and many still use it...The originality is not in the medium...the originality has to come from its content...good write-ups and amazing photos will do...

Printing process?

I am curious to know which printers newsprint can be run on. I worry about paper flakes, we print on Epson wide format for pigment printing. Thanks for article. And answer.

Rotating presses

In this case, we're actually talking about proper rotating presses - the same ones used for "real" newspapers.

Printers for Newspaper project

Does anyone have contacts for printers who do good and affordable printing on newsprint? In the USA that is.
Thanks

printers

Most community newspapers also do print jobs. Your best bet would be to try one of these ie not a major daily but a small town daily or weekly. If the quality of your local paper is good, chances are the job they do for you will be too. However, if they have a history of constantly having off register separations I would avoid them.

Uncertain States

A couple of years ago I came across London based photo collective Uncertain State's broadsheet-sized newspaper being distributed at Format in Derby. Images look stunning and it's open to anyone to submit work.
