Featuring a Schneider-Kreuznach 15x optical zoom, an f/2.8 28mm wide-angle lens and a 3-inch LCD screen, the Z1015 IS offers both manual and automatic control. Capable of capturing images up to ISO6400, it offers optical image stabilisation and face detection. Kodak also claims it offers the best click-to-capture speed in its class, at around 0.22 seconds.
The Z1015 IS features a Smart Capture mode, in which Kodak Perfect Touch processing automatically adjusts the exposure to the optimum level for the scene at hand. The camera can record both still and moving High Definition images.
The Z1015 will be on sale from October, priced £199.
In addition Kodak has launched the Easyshare M1093 IS compact digital camera, which also features the Smart Capture feature. Completing a busy roll-out, the company has unveiled two new Easyshare digital photoframes, the W1020 and the W820.
