The social photo hosting and sharing website Flickr has launched its own iPhone application, enabling users of the Apple device to automatically access the site and upload pictures to their streams
Author: Olivier Laurent
The Flickr iPhone app, available from today, enables 'people to easily upload, share and tag photos and videos while staying in touch with the Flickr community,' Flickr's parent company, Yahoo, says.
Users can view their contacts' most recent activity and uploads, as well as geo-tag their own photos before uploading them. They can also search for photos by subject, people and places.
The application is available in the UK, France, Canada, the US, Singapore and Hong Kong. Three languages are offered - English, French and traditional Chinese.
