SoShowMe is an exhibition showcasing, for the first time at theprintspace, a range of photography compiled over the past year through monthly Facebook competitions and a Flickr group.
"SoShowMe will provide a platform in the heart of buzzing Shoreditch to photographers who don’t usually have the chance to exhibit their work," says the gallery. "Featuring a wide range of photography, with themes such as light, documentary, portraiture and landscapes, the exhibition is an exciting and colourful celebration of social media from photographers all over the world."
Max Munton, of theprintspace, adds: "Social media has provided a great way for the sharing and discussion of photography, provoking passionate live debate and opinion."
SoShowMe opens at 74 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch on Thursday 02 September and continues until 15 September. For more details, visit www.theprintspace.co.uk.
