New PhotoVoice lectures focus on women photographers

Three women representing three generations of photographers will be the stars of PhotoVoice's new Lectures to be held from next month

Photographers Sarah Moon, Mary McCartney and Anastasia Taylor-Lind will take turn this fall at PhotoVoice to give their perspectives on women photography and discuss their latest work.

Moon will kick off the series with a 05 October appearance. She will be in conversation with Ilona Suschitzky, giving "a rare insight to the thoughts and motivations behind her films and photography, as well as showing her film Black Riding Hood."

McCartney, who is the daughter of Paul and Linda McCartney, started her career in photography in 1994. Her first book will be published next month, to coincide with an exhibition at the Michael Hoppen Gallery, and on 11 November she will be in conversation with British Vogue's creative director, Robin Derrick.

Finally, the emerging talent Taylor-Lind will be sharing "her experiences of being a female photographer on the front line." Taylor-Lind is based in the Middle East and has worked for GEO, Marie Claire and The Sunday Times Magazine, among many others. She has received awards from the Royal Photographic Society, The Guardian and Deutsche Bank. Her PhotoVoice Lecture will take place on 02 December.
