Documentary photographer Anastasia Taylor-Lind will, on 02 December, talk with Laura Noble, co-director of the Diemar/Noble gallery, about her emerging career.
Taylor-Lind studied documentary photography at the University of Wales Newport and the London College of Communication and is currently based in Lebanon. She is represented by the VII Mentor program. She has won a number of photography awards including the Guardian photography award for a portrait of a Kurdish female fighter (pictured above).
The lecture is the final in a series of talks on women photography. Previous speakers included photographers Sarah Moon and Mary McCartney.
The PhotoVoice lecture starts at 7.30pm at the South Place Ethical Society in London (WC1R 4RL). Entry is £10 - £12 at the door. For more information and to book, visit www.photovoice.org.
