Institute U is a series of international seminars, which will be launched in May in London, BJP understands. For the first event, photographers Simon Norfolk, Rob Hornstra and Zed Nelson will explore documentary filmmaking, self publishing, fine art commissions and the business of photography.

The seminars will take place on Saturday 14 May and Sunday 15 May in London's Spring Studios and at Tate Modern. "All three photographers will deliver a series of seminars touching on such varied subjects as Self Publishing, documentary filmmaking, expanding beyond photojournalism, the business of being an artist, fine art photography, the long-form project, and working with different types of clients (editorial, commercial, cultural)," says the Institute. "The working day will start at 9am and continue through to 7pm."

On 15 May, attendees will receive a personal tour of Simon Norfolk's new exhibition, Simon Norfolk/John Burke, which opens on 07 May. "Attendees will be split up into one of five smaller private tours.
