Adobe's Lightroom 3.4 and Camera Raw 6.4 software release candidates are now available to download from Adobe Labs.

The release candidates feature support for seven new cameras such as the Canon EOS 600D and 1100D, as well as the Samsung NX11, Olympus' E-PL1s, E-PL2 and XZ-1, and Hasselblad's H4D-40.

The updates also include support for 13 additional lenses, which include the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM and EF 28-70mm f/2.8 L USM, Sigma's 85mm F1.4 EX DG HSM, Nikon's AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR, AF-S DX VR Zoom-NIKKOR 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED and AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G, as well as three Leica lenses - the APO-MACRO-SUMMARIT-S 1:2.5/120mm, SUMMARIT-S 1:2.5/35mm ASPH and SUMMARIT-S 1:2.5/70 mm ASPH.

The lens correction profiles automatically rectify unwanted distortions and chromatic aberrations, says Adobe.

Adobe has also fixed a series of bugs that affected performance of Lightroom and Camera Raw.

Lightroom 3.4 editing software can be downloaded for free by Lightroom 3 users and Photoshop Camera Raw 6.4 plug-in is available for no additional fee for Photoshop CS5 customers.
