"The Hinterlands is an all inclusive residential five day multimedia workshop with a twist," say the organisers. "Part holiday, part masterclass; set in the heart of rural Devon, The Hinterlands is a unique chance to really get to grips with the art of photofilm production whilst chilling out in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK."
The workshop takes runs from 20 to 25 May and costs £750 - including food and accommodation. "Training includes on location recording and photography, based on stories researched by The Hinterlands team. These will be drawn from the surrounding area and will include commercial subjects, as well as human interest features to cover a broad range of skills. There will also be talks and discussions focusing on the 'doing' and 'thinking' aspects of digital storytelling."
According to Chesterton, "the recipe for The Hinterlands is a bit different. We've taken the beautiful Devon Countryside, added some Mongolian Yurts, a handful of starry nights around a roaring campfire and blended in five days of kick ass photofilm training."
