British Journal of Photography, this month, focuses on film and photography, with its cover story dedicated to Wim Wenders, whose exhibition of photographs goes on show at the Haunch of Venison this month.
BJP also interviews Anton Corbijn about his work as a photographer and film director - introducing our eight-page feature on photographers who have just stepped into filmmaking for the first time. We spoke with Tim Walker, Sam Taylor-Wood, CJ Clarke, Zed Nelson, Stanislas Guigui and Jessica Dimmock.
In our technology section, we review continuous-lighting solutions aimed at entry-level and professional photographers, as well as the new Ilford Multigrade Art 300 paper - Harman Technology's first new silver gelatine darkroom paper in 13 years. We also have a review of Nikon's acclaimed 35mm f/1.4 lens and of Apple 27-inch Cinema Display.
In the Intelligence section, we're taking a closer look at crowdfunding for photography, and review the new-look New York Times Magazine.
Retailing at £6.99, the April edition of British Journal of Photography can be found at your local newsagent in the UK, as well as in Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and USA.
