Calling all wedding photographers - BJP's Unveiled masterclass and competition is back, after a successful 2010 launch.
The masterclass will take place twice this year, on 27 and 28 June, and will include talks by Catherine Westwood, editor of Wedding Magazine, Lisa Devlin, winner of the inaugural Unveiled competition, and Alexis Cuddyre, creative director of the OMG I'm Getting Married! wedding blog. They'll advise photographers how to take fresh wedding shots, and how to publicise their work via national magazines and social media.
Unveiled is run in partnership with Hasselblad, and the manufacturer has opened up its London studio for both days, giving photographers the chance to try out the latest kit and get advice on it from technical experts. The Hasselblad Studio is in Hoxton, East London, and the masterclasses will take place there from 9.30am-5pm.
BJP also invites wedding photographers to enter the 2011 Unveiled competition. The best new wedding photographer will be picked out by and published in Wedding Magazine, and he or she will get their very own dream kit to try out for a week, courtesy of the Pro Centre. Last year over 200 photographers entered, and Lisa Devlin beat off very stiff competition.
Tickets for the Unveiled masterclass cost £25; the competition is free. For more details, visit the Unveiled site.
