Now in its third year, the competition is organised to coincide with Visa Pour l'Image, the world's largest photojournalism festival, held in Perpignan in late August.
The France 24-RFI Web Documentary Award "honours [one] web documentary that sets itself apart from the other entries in terms of choice of subject, originality, and innovative use of new multimedia tools," say the organisers.
"Candidates should in particular demonstrate innovation and contribute to the development of a modern approach to the news on the web."
Entry is free. For more details, visit France24.com or RFI.fr or contact the organisers at webdocu@rfi.fr.
