Lisa Devlin says winning the inaugural Unveiled competition gave her wedding photography business an "amazing" boost – enter the 2011 contest today!

‘Amazing, amazing, amazing things have happened to me since I won this, I would urge anyone to enter,' says Lisa Devlin, winner of the British Journal of Photography's inaugural Unveiled wedding photography competition last year.

Before winning, her career was going well, but since then she has had to cap her bookings at 40 weddings in 2011 and has set up a series of workshops aimed at new and struggling photographers.

Devlin was selected from more than 200 applicants in the first Unveiled, which is now an annual event. The judges are looking for five original images from real-life marriages, shot on any camera and in any style. The winner will have one of their images printed in Wedding magazine, one of the UK's best-selling bridal titles, and the chance to shoot with their dream kit from Pro Centre for a week.

Submissions are free and the competition is open to UK wedding photographers. Entries should come from only one wedding, but photographers can enter as many times as they want. This year's contest closes on 30 September.

Only UK Photographers, Pitty

I was keen to enter this but it is not open to US Photographers, shame since I just completed a cool Trash The Dress Session in California
