Six years after launching its print-on-demand photobook publishing service, Blurb now allows photographers to automatically convert their books into eBooks

The new service lets authors automatically convert their books into eBooks by using Blurb's Bookify and BookSmart software. "Moreover any book previously created with these tools can now be produced as an ebook, automatically, with a click of a button," says Blurb.
The books can then be downloaded, at a cost to the author of £1.49 per download, to be viewed on Apple's iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. "Blurb ebooks include all the design and interaction benefits of Apple iOS technology: two-page spreads, pinch and zoom capabilities and uncompressed images, providing a stunningly rich visual experience, with no quality compromise."
As with all other Blurb books, ebooks can be listed for sale at the Blurb bookstore, and "authors can set their own price and keep 100% of the mark-up from sales." says Blurb.
