Photographer Simon Roberts and print sales specialist Anstice Oakeshott talk through the business of image-making at The Social tonight

How do you package your project for the press? How do you fund your work? How many prints should you include in an edition, and how do you go about selling them? Come to The Social tonight and photographer Simon Roberts and Photographers' Gallery print sales co-ordinator Anstice Oakeshott will outline some of the answers.
Offering tips and hints on how to run a photography business while staying true to your own vision, Roberts and Oakeshott speaking at Barrio Central, 06 Poland Street, London W1F 8PS. After their presentations there will be time for questions and answers, and photographers are invited to make a night of it with their peers. The Social starts at 6.30pm.
The Social is organised by The Photographers Gallery and British Journal of Photography, and has been running throughout 2011. Previous events have looked at getting your work into the national newspapers, the pros and cons of iPad portfolio, marketing yourself and making multimedia projects. The Social is usually held on the last Monday of the month.
