Apple plans week of photography events

Apple is planning a week of photography events at its flagship Regent Street store in London, with BJP invited to present its iPad application on 14 November

Apple's Regent Street store is inviting photography enthusiasts and professionals to attend a series of events from 07 to 14 November, culminating with BJP's presentation of its dedicated iPad app.

During its "photography week", Apple will showcase how photographers can use its range of software and hardware products, such as Aperture, iPhoto and the iPhone, to enhance and streamline their work processes.

Apple has also invited a professional photographers to discuss their work, such as Mark Esper, a London-based photojournalist, who will discuss his latest photobook released via Apple's iBookstore.

On 09 November, MV, a collective of wedding and portrait photographer, will organise a full-day of presentations and seminars, as well as portfolio reviews. "Find out what it takes to continually produce timeless and beautiful images, whether with documentary wedding photography or evocative and thought provoking portraits," says MV.

Photographer David Graham will present his work shooting with the iPhone at a 11 November event where he will talk about the best apps he uses to take portraits.

Finally, on 14 December, BJP's editor Simon Bainbridge and art director Mick Moore will discuss how they brought the world's longest-running photography magazine to the iPad.
