Celebrated photographer Martin Parr will teach 15 participants about his photographic techniques in a two-day workshop to be held on 18-19 August.
"Parr will begin the session by reviewing the existing portfolios of all participants and then provide an overnight shooting exercise to be reviewed the following day," say the organisers. "Parr will provide individual critiques and advice relating to successful editing processes. In addition, Parr will deliver an inspirational presentation about his work and career, and discuss other aspects of marketing and exposure for the emerging photographer."
The event, which will be filmed, costs £450 plus VAT. Prospective participants must send five images for review before being accepted on the course.
