"The Terry O'Neill Award is aimed at finding new talent, creating a platform for upcoming photographers," say the organisers, who are now calling for all photographers to submit up to six images from a series for a chance to win up to £3000 in cash.
Photographers can enter images no matter the category: fine art, photo-journalism, still-life portraiture, landscape, wildlife, or fashion.
The overall winner will receive a £3000 cash prize, while two other photographers will respectively receive £1000 and £500 respectively. A selection of the winning images will be published in The Sunday Times Magazine, while prints from 10 shortlisted photographers will go on show at The Strand Gallery in January 2013.
Entry is £7 per picture (£5 for students) and the deadline has been set to 22 November.
