Prime, a collective of photographers, is looking for new members
Author: Matilde Brunetti
21 Aug 2012 Tags: Collectives
Founded in 2011, the goals of Prime, as defined by the six founding members, are to reinforce the importance of photography, to use economies of scale in order to increase the financial viability of members' careers, and to share information and motivation among the members, improving each photographer's ability.
Prime is now seeking forward-thinking photographers who share the collective's goals and ethics.
New members will spend one year with Prime before acquiring permanent status. All Prime members are expected to produce both personal and group projects each year, and new members will also be asked to invest financially in the collective.
Interested photographers must submit a portfolio including one of three projects, a letter explaining why they would like to become a Prime member and a short biography.
For more details, visit the Prime website.
