In association with ChooseFilm.com, the online film photography community, and Metro Imagining, the Fujifilm Student Awards is inviting photography and non-photography students to enter images that have been shot using Fujifilm's range of professional films.

For this year's theme, "The Colour of...," students have been asked to shoot images demonstrating how colour lights up their world. Entrants can submit as many photos to the competition as they wish, and entry is free.

"The Fujifilm Student Awards are a major part of the curriculum for many colleges, and tutors right across Britain see the awards as pivotal to their students' education, which is why we have made the decision to broaden the spectrum of entrants this year," says Gabriel Da Costa, Fujifilm Professional's product manager. "The Fujifilm Student Awards provide a great opportunity to see the level of talent that many young photographers possess; many of the winners from previous years have gone on to enjoy successful careers as professional photographers."

This year's winner will receive £200 of Fujifilm material and a printing/consultancy session with Metro.

Deadline for entries is 29 April 2013. For more information, visit www.fujifilmstudentawards.co.uk.
