Instagram has pushed version 3.2 of its popular iPhone application, introducing new camera controls as well as a new black-and-white filter

Instagram has introduced the largest update to its iOS app since it was revamped a year ago, it says in a blog post announcing the launch. "The camera has been the core part of the Instagram experience since the day we launched and as a result, we've made significant improvements to its look and speed," writes the San Francisco mobile photo-sharing company.

"We've brought the look of Instagram's camera up to parity with the rest of our application," it says, with an Instagram-themed shutter and shutter release button, a new improved camera roll image selector, and an optional grid guide.

Instagram has also added a new monochrome filter dubbed Willow, with "subtle purple tones and a translucent glowing white border."

Additionally, the update brings improved tilt and shift controls, a redesigned news feed, and greater integration with Foursquare.

Fractured Clouds.

I'd like to know what BJP's take is over the growing rivalry between Twitter and Instagram. Especially now that Twitter have added filter support to their mobile app.

Wait and see

I'll reserve my judgement until I've been able to take a proper look at Twitter's filters. In the meantime, I'd say that Instagram's entire business is based around photography while Twitter isn't known as a photo-sharing service. Twitter faces a challenge to change that perception in people's minds.

Want old filters back.

If live filters are gone, why don't they bring old filtering algorithms back?

Check www.reallyniceimages.com If you wanna enjoy the proper look&feel of old-good Instagram filters.
