Alamy launches Find-a-Photographer feature
Alamy has introduced a new free service allowing picture buyers to directly contact photographers for assignments and commissions
The Find a Photographer uses an interface based on Google maps to provide up to the
minute contact details and locations for photographers who sign up to the service, says Alamy.
The feature is open to contributors who have more than 100 images and more than 10 sales with Alamy. They must also be experienced in conducting assignments and/or commissions and have a website showcasing their work.
Customers can search by location to see contact details and portfolio images from photographers in the area. The feature is currently in trial with a small number of customers before it is officially launched.
